Firstly, please excuse me speaking English.
I have a 1tb partition which I've been using for torrents for about a year. I tried copying a file to the drive and realised it was extremely slow, so must be highly fragmented. (I know the disk is healthy as I've run Crystal Disk Info and other tools.)
I tried using Puran Defragger to defragment it, but Puran took weeks and it never seemed to be finished.
I heard that O&O was faster, so I've installed it. It seems like good software. But when I defrag the disk, the percentage seems stuck at 99%, and when teh "remaining time" gets down to 0 it keeps jumping back up to 3 minutes.
This is how it looks:
Stuck at 99%, and "remaining time" keeps jumping up?
Re: Stuck at 99%, and "remaining time" keeps jumping up?
Your hard drive partition is extremely full. Therefore the slow speed. I wrote this with a translator.

Ich habe seit letztem Jahr das gleiche Problem, obwohl der HDD noch genügend Platz hatte.

I have the same problem with drive filled not even in half. Like 70% empty drive.
Its software problem imo.
