the drive could not be mounted

get this when i try and mount an image ? rebooted , unplugged drive etc etc
backup image job was successfull


further processing had to be stopped due to an error. error code 0xc00000034.70004.1019.70

any ideas guys ?

Hello superfantastic,

the error code says "invalid or damaged installation". Please uninstall, restart your computer an install O&O DiskImage again. Don't forget to restart! If the problem
does persist it is also possible (as workaroud) to boot from the O&O DiskImage CD and mount the image there.

Please install the latest build version which is 7.81.6:

the reinstall did not fix it ! found problem though, windows 8.1 update caused the problem, if i remove the windows 8.1 and go back before i installed it the image mounts fine, put windows 8.1 back on and it does not mount again

thank you for your feedback. Lets try something else:

1. Remove windows 8.1
2. Uninstall O&O Diskimage 7. (using Win 8.0)
3. Update to Windows 8.1 again.
4. Install Diskimage version 7.81.6

What is the result now?
