Note that Copilot is replacing Cortana in Windows 11, but it becomes even more evil than before. Microsoft ignored their own Ethics & Society Team which told Microsoft senior management that it was irresponsible to release AI to the world in its current form via Bing and ChatGPT. Unfortunately for the world, Microsoft ignored the sage advice and instead choose to disband that team and then proceeded with launching said unready AI.

Copilot is just yet the next step in allowing Microsoft to "continue to unlawfully collect and feed additional personal data from millions" worldwide.

The average user is not being educated on the dangers of this unready AI, where usage of it also means that the user implicitly consents to additional user-data-harvesting and user-data-sharing-with-third-parties by Microsoft.
Perhaps you may not have seen Copilot AI appear on your Windows 11 computers, since it is not currently legally allowed to be deployed automatically in Europe. Part of the reason may stem from poor laws in the USA, which mandate sharing of data that the Copilot AI harvests:
"One major problem that the EU court pointed out is that data of foreigners is not protected in the USA. The protections that are there--even if limited--only apply to US citizens. The NSA can get full access to any and all data of non-US citizens from US companies at any time."

"Microsoft made Copilot available on Windows 11,... but not in countries of the European Union (EU) because the feature is still not compliant with the Digital Markets Act (DMA)."

But, for users elsewhere, it seems that Copilot AI will be enabled by default. It is a tragic situation to have this setting be an opt-out choice, with it being enabled by default for users.
Thus, having the ability to disable Copilot AI from O&O Shutup10+ will be a very valuable feature. Thank you.
